We are a small, design-led studio community in Barnstaple, created for people who need practical space to think, make and work.

Our building brings together workshops, studios and offices within a simple industrial setting, carefully adapted to suit creative businesses. Each unit is designed to be functional, light and adaptable. Whether you’re woodworking, designing, prototyping, or running the quieter administrative side of a creative practice.

We believe good working environments matter. Space should support focus, craftsmanship and day-to-day practicality, without unnecessary complexity. That’s why we’ve kept things straightforward: well-proportioned units, shared kitchen and loos, and a calm atmosphere that respects both making and concentration.

We’re home to independent makers, designers and small studios who value having their own space while being part of a wider creative environment. It’s not a co-working space and it’s not a factory, it sits somewhere in between, shaped around real creative work.
